Review: Sarah Bricker

In summary, I wouldn’t want my family to be anywhere else.

My son has been a student at Legacy Martial Arts (formerly Premier Martial Arts) for almost three years – The Standard Program for one year, and The Black Belt Training Program for two years, under the Life Time Membership (which is worth it).

The communication/ notifications (paper, text and email) are clear and easily accessible.

The instructors are all top of the line. A special shout out to Mr. Gibson and Mr. Corey! I trust them 100% to put the best interest of my child first, to challenge him, and to meet him where he is at. Mr. Gibson is highly experienced in Martial Arts, as well as education for kids and adults, and it shows in the first day you meet.

In the three years we’ve been attending, my son has grown in strength, confidence, respect, and disciple – exactly what we are looking for as he is learning what it means to be a man. There’s been only twice when Alphonse didn’t want to go to class (class is 2x / week) and it was because he was tired from a big event prior or recently being sick. The training is balanced with good times, and a safe and clean environment.

The only disappointment I can point out is that they could benefit from a larger facility. The space where parents sit is snuggly placed between the workout area, the exit ,and the front desk. Occasionally there is not enough seating for all parents. You have to walk through the training area to get to the bathroom, and the classes with older kids feel tight. It doesn’t diminish the value of the class, but ultimately is a bit uncomfortable.

Thank you!
