LMA Celebrates at the TKA 2025 Season Banquet!
On February 28th, 2026 members of Legacy Martial Arts Competition Team attended the Tournament Karate Associations 2025 Season Banquet. Competitors from all of over the Midwest attended to receive their recognition for points earned during the 2025 Competition Season which ran from February – December 2025.
We’re proud of all of our Champions and enjoyed celebrating with Martial Arts Legend Bill “Superfoot
” Wallace and Hanshi David Foreman. Both are martial arts pioneers from the 1970’s through today and recently celebrated their 80th Birthdays! Mr Wallace was introduced to Karate in Okinawa, and Mr Foreman in Korea both while serving the US Military.

Our curriculum focuses on character development far beyond the importance of self-defense. Legacy Martial Arts was founded in 2015 by 7th Degree Black Belt and Master Instructor Ron Kuhn. Master Kuhn had a distinguished management & engineering career working for such companies as Verizon, NIPSCO, Frontier Communications and Mediacom. In 2019 he made the decision to operate his Martial Arts School full time which has always been his lifelong dream. That one location has grown to three in the City of Fort Wayne.
Master Ron Kuhn is married to his wife Anita (retired Special Needs Teacher) of 30+ years. They have three wonderful daughters, Jordan, Ally and Katie. Jordan is a nurse who lives in Indianapolis. Ally has a computer science and business background and works with her dad at Legacy Martial Arts. Katie is Chemical Engineering graduate and works in the pharmaceutical industry in Indianapolis.
