Team Legacy Attends The PKC Internationals Tournament

Over Labor Day weekend members of the Legacy Martial Arts Competition Team competed against some of the best Karateka in the nation. Competitors came from all over the United States and Canada to attend this prestigious event. Friday night’s events included: Musical Kata, Push Hands, and Team Kata. Saturday’s events consisted of Chanbara and Weapons Kata. Saturday night the PKC held it’s annual National Banquet for the 2025/2026 Season issue awards earned during the season. Sunday’s competition was kata, and sparring with Grand Champion events held later in the evening.

All of our competitors placed in multiple events, most placed in every event they participated in. All also received awards from Saturday night’s banquet. We’re very proud of all the hard work these ninja’s put into their training, how they support each other, and most of all that they are great leaders in the dojo.

It’s important to note while we celebrate the achievements of our Competition team we are NOT a Competition School by nature. Those who choose to compete can, and those that don’t focus on the other areas of their training.
